Job description:

We're looking for an enthusiastic Integration Engineer to join our defense team in Haifa!

This is a full-time position on-site

Providing technical support for complex avionics systems (mission, flight, power, and communication) with extensive software, firmware, and communication components, in leading unmanned systems (UAV systems) worldwide.

The Field Engineering Technician supports development teams, is responsible for the laboratories, and performs installations and programming of avionics products.

The role includes participating in ground and flight tests to demonstrate and mature the developed capabilities at integration and testing sites in Israel and abroad.

The Field Engineering Technician is required to work effectively in a matrix development environment, demonstrate quick learning abilities, analyze complex topics with a broad system perspective, and maintain high-level interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for complex avionics systems in UAV platforms.
• Operate and maintain lab environments, test equipment, and integration setups.
• Perform installation, configuration, and basic programming of avionics components.
• Participate in ground and flight tests in Israel and abroad.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues.
• Work effectively in a matrix environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Quickly learn new technologies and provide system-level technical insights.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of hands-on technical experience in field engineering, avionics, system integration, or a similar technical role.
• Electrical Practical Engineer degree.
• Experience working with standard test equipment (oscilloscope, DVM).
• Familiarity with networks and communication protocols (IP communication, serial communication).Programming knowledge in Python.
• Familiarity with radio communication (RF).
