FPGA Design Engineer

A leading technology company is looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary R&D team working on cutting-edge FPGA-based solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement FPGA solutions from architecture to hardware validation

• Develop RTL using VHDL and/or Verilog

• Build and maintain structured testbenches and perform simulations using ModelSim and Questa

• Perform synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), timing closure, and CDC verification

• Debug FPGA designs using embedded debug tools (ILA, ChipScope, SignalTap) and lab equipment

• Work with leading FPGA toolchains including Xilinx Vivado/Vitis or Intel Quartus Prime

• Develop automation scripts using Python, Tcl, or Bash to improve design and verification flows

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the full development lifecycle

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field

• At least 5 years of FPGA design and development experience

• Strong RTL design experience using VHDL and/or Verilog

• Experience with Xilinx/AMD or Intel/Altera FPGA development environments

• Hands-on experience with ModelSim, Questa, or similar simulation tools

• Strong knowledge of Static Timing Analysis (STA), CDC, timing constraints, and timing closure

• Solid understanding of digital design, FSMs, pipelining, DSP architectures, and FPGA resource optimization

• Experience with FPGA debugging tools and laboratory equipment

• Scripting experience with Python, Tcl, or Bash – an advantage

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
