Senior FPGA Engineer | haifa

🚀 We are looking for an experienced Senior FPGA Design Engineer to join an advanced R&D team developing cutting-edge medical imaging systems.

This is a hands-on development role in a multidisciplinary environment, combining FPGA design, high-speed interfaces, hardware integration, and laboratory validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop FPGA solutions using VHDL/Verilog.
• Own RTL development, simulation, verification, and timing closure.
• Develop and integrate high-speed interfaces including DDR, Ethernet, PCIe, and AXI.
• Work with AMD/Xilinx FPGA devices and Vivado development tools.
• Perform FPGA debugging, board bring-up, and laboratory validation.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, system, and verification engineers.
• Prepare technical documentation and support integration and release processes.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering – Mandatory.
• 5+ years of hands-on FPGA development experience – Mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in VHDL/Verilog and RTL design.
• Proven experience with Xilinx Vivado.
• Experience with high-speed digital interfaces such as DDR, Ethernet, and AXI.
• Strong knowledge of digital logic design, simulation, and timing closure.
• Experience with laboratory debugging, integration, and validation.
• Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary products.
