We're looking for an Email & SMS Marketing Manager who thinks in conversions and customer lifetime value. This role is for a strategic executor — someone who builds comprehensive customer journeys at scale, reads the data to see what’s working, and launches the next iteration before anyone asks. A track record of driving e-commerce revenue through retention channels is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Lifecycle: Manage and optimize end-to-end email and SMS flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase upsell, replenishment) for both non-paying prospects and active customers.
- Drive Revenue Metrics: Develop targeted, data-driven strategies specifically designed to increase Conversion Rate (CVR), Average Order Value (AOV), and long-term customer retention.
- Test & Iterate: Run rigorous, continuous A/B testing across direct-response copy, design elements, subject lines, offers, and send times to maximize revenue efficiency.
- Master Deliverability: Monitor and maintain list health, deliverability rates, and spam rates. Implement strict list hygiene and technical best practices to ensure messages consistently optimize for landing in the primary inbox.
- Segment for Relevance: Build sophisticated audience segments based on behavior and purchase history to ensure communication is direct, relatable, and highly personalized, rather than sending repetitive promotional blasts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the broader Marketing, Product, and Design teams to align retention messaging with paid acquisition efforts, new product drops, and seamless user experiences.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on email and SMS marketing experience.
- Proven e-commerce background — mandatory.
- Beauty or skincare brand experience — strong advantage.
- Deep expertise in CRM and marketing automation platforms (Klaviyo experience highly preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to move the needle on AOV, CVR, and email deliverability metrics.
- A strong understanding of performance marketing dynamics, possessing both a sharp eye for conversion-focused design and a preference for clear, direct copywriting.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills are required.
