About the role

We are looking for a motivated and curious Data Analyst to join our R&D team. This is a dynamic, hands-on position where you will work with biological data from the moment it is generated, through quality control, organization, processing, analysis, and interpretation, to support assay development and clinical validation.

As part of a small, fast-paced startup, you will collaborate closely with molecular biologists, laboratory scientists, and software developers. Your analyses will directly influence experimental design, biomarker selection, algorithm development, and product optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sequencing and DNA microarray datasets.
• Develop and maintain analysis pipelines using R and/or Python.
• Perform statistical analyses, feature selection, and data visualization.
• Investigate technical variability and optimize data processing workflows.
• Use AI tools to accelerate coding, data analysis, workflow optimization, and insight generation.
• Present findings and communicate results clearly to multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Bioinformatics, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related life science field.
• Experience analyzing biological or genomic datasets.
• Proficiency in R and/or Python, including the ability to write, modify, and understand analysis scripts.
• Good understanding of statistics and data analysis methods.
• Experience with sequencing, methylation, or microarray data- advantage
• Ability to use AI tools to support data analysis, coding, workflow optimization, and scientific insight generation.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
