Lead Mechanical Engineer

Polygon, an innovative robotics and automation company, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Team Lead to lead the mechanical development of advanced automation and robotic systems. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on mechanical design and development.

• Lead the mechanical design and development of complex automation and robotic systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mechanical engineers.
• Drive projects from concept through detailed design, prototyping, validation, and production.
• Design mechanisms, motion systems, and pneumatic solutions using SolidWorks.
• Work closely with software, controls, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
• Participate in design reviews, technical decision-making, and product architecture definition.
  

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
• Proven experience designing machines and systems incorporating mechanisms, motion control, controls, and pneumatics.
• Strong technical leadership and project execution capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Previous experience leading or mentoring mechanical engineering teams.
• Experience developing machinery for serial production.
• Experience in robotics, automation, or industrial equipment.
• Residence in Central Israel / Sharon area.
