Frisimos develops advanced automated production lines for high-tech industrial manufacturing. Our systems combine miniature robotics, precision motion control, laser-based processes and electromechanical mechanisms to automate complex cable-to-connector assembly operations.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team and take a leading role in the design and development of robotics-based machines, precision mechanisms and electromechanical automation systems.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, verification and production support of advanced automated machines and mechanical subsystems, including:

• Design and development of mechanical systems, precision mechanisms and machine assemblies.
• Lead mechanical design activities from concept and specification definition through detailed design, verification and production release.
• Define technical requirements, evaluate design alternatives and manage engineering trade-offs throughout the development cycle.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during manufacturing, assembly, integration, testing and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate on the development and integration of robotic motion systems involving multiple sensors, actuators and control inputs.
• Select and define electric motors, servo systems, linear actuators, pneumatic components and related motion-control hardware.
• Design tools, fixtures and jigs required for assembly, testing and production processes.
• Work closely with electrical, control, software and production teams in multidisciplinary development projects.
• Support external subcontractors and suppliers regarding manufacturability, tolerances, materials, assembly methods and production considerations.
• Support the development of maintenance procedures, service documentation and user manuals.

• B.Sc. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of practical, hands-on experience in mechanical engineering design and machine development.
• Strong hands-on experience in 3D CAD design, with proven expertise in SolidWorks (SW).
• Experience in the detailed design of mechanical parts, assemblies, drawings, tolerances and production documentation.
• Practical experience in designing mechanisms, machines or automation equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on engineering approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good written and spoken English, including the ability to prepare technical documentation and procedures.

• Advanced expertise in SolidWorks, including complex assemblies, configurations, design tables, motion studies and production drawings.
• Experience working with SolidWorks PDM or another PDM/PLM system.
• Experience in multidisciplinary projects involving mechanics, electronics, control systems, sensors and software.
• Experience in industrial automation and the development of machines designed to perform more than one million cycles per year.
• Experience in motion systems, servo motors, actuators, pneumatics and motion-control applications.
• Experience in designing robotic or high-precision electromechanical systems.
• Experience supporting production, machine assembly, commissioning and field service activities.

אנו מחפשים מהנדס/ת מכונות בכיר/ה להצטרפות לצוות ההנדסה של החברה, ולהובלת תכנון ופיתוח של מכונות מבוססות רובוטיקה, מנגנונים מדויקים ומערכות אוטומציה אלקטרו-מכניות.

מהנדס/ת המכונות יהיה/תהיה אחראי/ת על תכנון, פיתוח, אימות ותמיכה בייצור של מכונות אוטומטיות מתקדמות ותתי-מערכות מכניות, ובכלל זה:

• תכנון ופיתוח של מערכות מכניות, מנגנונים מדויקים ומכלולי מכונה.
• הובלת פעילות התכנון המכני משלב הקונספט והגדרת הדרישות, דרך תכנון מפורט, אימות והעברה לייצור.
• הגדרת דרישות טכניות, בחינת חלופות תכנון וניהול שיקולי תכן לאורך מחזור הפיתוח.
• תכנון אבות-טיפוס, מתקני בדיקה וניסויים כחלק מתהליך האימות והוולידציה של התכן.
• מתן תמיכה הנדסית מעשית בשלבי הייצור, ההרכבה, האינטגרציה, הבדיקות ואיתור התקלות.
• תכנון מערכות רובוטיות בעלות מספר דרגות חופש ודרישות תנועה מורכבות.
• שיתוף פעולה בפיתוח ובאינטגרציה של מערכות תנועה רובוטיות המשלבות חיישנים, אקטואטורים ומערכות בקרה.
• בחירה והגדרה של מנועים חשמליים, מערכות סרוו, אקטואטורים ליניאריים, רכיבים פנאומטיים וציוד בקרת תנועה נלווה.
• תכנון כלים, מתקנים וג'יגים הנדרשים לתהליכי הרכבה, בדיקה וייצור.
• פיתוח מנגנונים ואקטואטורים אמינים עבור מכונות אוטומטיות הפועלות בקצבי עבודה גבוהים.
• עבודה משותפת עם צוותי חשמל, בקרה, תוכנה וייצור במסגרת פרויקטים מולטי-דיסציפלינריים.
• תמיכה בקבלני משנה ובספקים בנושאי ייצוריות, טולרנסים, חומרים, שיטות הרכבה ושיקולי ייצור.
• סיוע בהכנת נהלי תחזוקה, תיעוד לצוותי שירות ומדריכי משתמש.

• תואר ראשון ומעלה בהנדסת מכונות.
• לפחות 10 שנות ניסיון מעשי בתכנון הנדסי מכני ובפיתוח מכונות.
• ניסיון מעשי משמעותי בתכנון תלת-ממדי באמצעות תוכנות CAD, עם מומחיות מוכחת ב-SolidWorks (SW).
• ניסיון בתכנון מפורט של חלקים מכניים, מכלולים, שרטוטי ייצור, טולרנסים ותיעוד הנדסי לייצור.
• ניסיון מעשי בתכנון מנגנונים, מכונות או ציוד אוטומציה.
• יכולות גבוהות בפתרון בעיות וגישה הנדסית מעשית.
• יכולת עבודה אפקטיבית כחלק מצוות מולטי-דיסציפלינרי.
• אנגלית טובה בכתב ובעל פה, לרבות יכולת כתיבת תיעוד טכני ונהלים.

• מומחיות מתקדמת ב-SolidWorks, כולל מכלולים מורכבים, Configurations, Design Tables, Motion Studies ושרטוטי ייצור.
• ניסיון בעבודה עם SolidWorks PDM או מערכת PDM/PLM אחרת.
