Customer Success Manager

About the Role:
As Akita Cyber’s Customer Success Manager, you will play a key role in shaping what great customer success looks like in a fast-growing cybersecurity consultancy.
You will own a focused portfolio of strategic accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to clients across industries and sizes. While you will guide clients through onboarding, adoption, and renewals, your greatest impact will be driving growth — identifying pain points, uncovering upsell opportunities, and collaborating with Sales to expand client engagement.
This role sits at the intersection of Customer Success and Business Development, making it ideal for someone with a commercial mindset, a genuine passion for cybersecurity, and strong relationship-building skills.
You will join a team of eight, working alongside another CSM and reporting to the Team Leader.
What You’ll Do:
Client Relationships & Strategy
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic accounts, building long-term trusted relationships with stakeholders from technical teams to C-level executives
- Understand each client’s business goals and security posture, and connect them with the right Akita services
- Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs/EBRs) that clearly demonstrate ROI and identify new opportunities
Client Lifecycle
- Lead structured onboarding programs to ensure a smooth start and fast time-to-value
- Proactively monitor account health, identify risks early, and develop mitigation plans
- Own the renewal process end-to-end, with a strong focus on long-term client satisfaction
Growth & Upsell
- Identify client pain points and uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales on account growth strategies and support closing new engagements
Project & Client Management
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously with strong organization, attention to detail, and ownership
- Drive projects from kick-off to delivery — keeping stakeholders aligned, timelines on track, and quality consistently high
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Akita’s technical and delivery teams to ensure service excellence and resolve escalations
- Represent the voice of the customer internally — bringing insights to management and contributing to strategic decisions
What We’re Looking For:
Experience
- 1–2+ years in a client-facing role — Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, or similar
- We welcome strong junior candidates who are eager to grow
- Background or hands-on experience in cybersecurity (technical, consulting, or client-facing) — an advantage
- Proven ability to build client relationships and identify commercial opportunities
Skills & Traits
- A natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly with both technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Commercial mindset with a strong ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Technically curious — not necessarily an expert, but eager to learn and capable of engaging in meaningful cybersecurity discussions
- Strong influence skills — able to drive action and alignment across teams and clients
Communication & Presentation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English
- Ability to independently create clear, structured, and visually compelling presentations for senior stakeholders
- High attention to detail — producing polished emails, decks, and documents that reflect the company’s standards
- Fluent in Hebrew and English
