Onboarding is where that trust is either built correctly or broken forever.
This role is not customer support, not project coordination, and not lightweight onboarding.
It is a high-ownership, high-pressure role at the center of customer relationships.
The Role
We’re hiring an Onboarding Manager to lead enterprise customer implementations from contract signature to steady-state production.
You will manage onboarding projects that often span several months, involve multiple stakeholders, evolving requirements, incomplete data, and high expectations.
You’ll need to:
- Earn customer trust over time
- Navigate ambiguity without over-promising
- Understand loan data deeply enough to spot issues early
- Communicate clearly and confidently under pressure
This role is demanding. It requires patience, numerical confidence, and emotional resilience.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Customer Onboarding & Delivery
- Own end-to-end onboarding for enterprise private credit customers
- Lead onboarding projects lasting weeks to months
- Build onboarding plans, timelines, and milestones - and reset expectations when needed
- Act as the primary point of accountability for the customer during onboarding
Customer Trust & Communication
- Manage senior stakeholders at funds, administrators, and internal teams
- Communicate delays, scope changes, and risks clearly and early
- Build credibility through honesty, structure, and follow-through
- Handle escalations calmly and professionally
Subject Matter & Data
- Develop a deep understanding of loan administration concepts (interest, fees, amortization, currencies, etc.)
- Work directly with loan-level data and identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to resolve complex onboarding issues
Internal Coordination
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align commitments and delivery
- Push back internally when needed to protect customer trust
- Document decisions, assumptions, and scope clearly
Requirements
- 3+ years in enterprise onboarding, implementation, operations, ERP, or similar
- Experience managing multi-month customer implementations
- Strong comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage customer expectations over time
- Experience in either private credit, lending, fund administration, or financial operations (ex-Big 4)
