VP Finance

Mize is a Fintech-travel start-up that uses high-end technology to solve some of the huge challenges of the evolving travel industry and provide real financial value to our network of clients, including more than 200 international clients generating $20 Billion in sales annually. Our headquarters are in Tel Aviv, and we have offices in Argentina, Spain, UK, US, and India.

We are looking for a VP Finance to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of a fast-growing, global company. This is a high-impact position for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is excited to build, scale, and optimize finance operations end-to-end. You will lead and develop a talented team, drive financial planning and performance, and act as a key business partner to the executive team—bringing both analytical rigor and forward-thinking insights. The ideal candidate combines strong financial expertise with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, and is passionate about leveraging technology, automation, and data to drive smarter decisions and support the company’s next stage of growth.

What will you do?

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance department to achieve strategic goals and support Mize's scaling initiatives.
• Financial Strategy & Planning: Direct the annual budgeting and forecasting process, guiding the team on long-term strategic and financial planning.
• KPI & Executive Reporting: Oversee the development and tracking of key performance indicators to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.
• Accounting & Consolidation: Review and govern the month-end close and multi-subsidiary consolidation processes prepared by the team.
• Tax Strategy: Direct external advisors and internal staff on cross-border tax compliance, transfer pricing, and international filings.
• Treasury Oversight: Guide cash flow and liquidity management strategies, ensuring optimal allocation across global operations.
• Billing & AR Management: Set billing policies and review performance metrics to optimize the cash conversion cycle and minimize risk.
• Internal Controls & Governance: Design and maintain internal control frameworks, acting as the executive point of contact for external audits.
• Digital transformation: Lead digital transformation of Mize’s financial infrastructure by evaluating, implementing, and optimizing modern AI and automation tools.
  
  

• 8+ years of progressive experience in financial management within tech, fintech, or travel companies.
• Proven leadership experience, either as a Director of Finance ready to step into a VP role, or as a Head of Finance in a growing organization.
• At least 3 years of experience managing and developing teams, with a track record of building strong, high-performing finance functions.
• Experience working in global companies, including multi-currency environments and cross-border operations.
