Technical Data Analyst

We are looking for a Technical Data Analyst to join the Data team of a large industrial company.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of the organization’s data products — from understanding business needs, through building data processing pipelines in a Databricks environment, to delivering data layers and BI solutions accessible to business users via Power BI.

Responsibilities

   •   End-to-end development of data products and data solutions for various business units

   •   Understand and translate business requirements into actionable data processes, including defining business logic and analytical models

   •   Develop data processing pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Databricks / PySpark, based on existing data sources

   •   Build analytical data layers and semantic layers for BI and operational systems

   •   Work closely with Data Engineering teams to enhance existing processes and align them with business needs

   •   Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI

   •   Ensure data quality, accuracy, availability, and proper documentation of data processes and products

   •   Identify opportunities to optimize and automate business processes using data

   •   Lead reviews and continuous improvements of data products throughout their lifecycle

Requirements

   •   2–4 years of experience developing data solutions (BI / Data Products / Data Analyst)

   •   Strong hands-on experience with SQL –A Must

   •   Hands-on experience with Python or PySpark – A Must

   •   Solid understanding of data modeling and building semantic layers in Power BI – A Must

   •   Experience working with business stakeholders and gathering requirements – A Must

   •   Proven experience with Databricks – significant advantage

   •   Experience working with Microsoft Azure – significant advantage

   •   Business understanding of FMCG (consumer goods) – advantage

   •   High level of English – reading, writing, and speaking
