Supply Chain Director

This opportunity is with a fast-growing, innovative medical device company.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Director to lead companies end-to-end value chain, with full ownership of planning, inventory, logistics, procurement, and execution. Reporting to the CFO, reflecting the critical link between supply chain performance and our financial outcomes. This role drives working capital optimization, cost performance, and overall value chain efficiency.

You will operate at the intersection of operations and commercial execution, ensuring alignment between sales plans and supply capabilities while enabling reliable product availability.

Responsibilities:

Value Chain Leadership

• Own planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and fulfillment
• Translate business and sales plans into executable supply strategies
• Drive alignment across Sales, Finance, and Operations

Planning & Sales Enablement

• Lead S&OP / S&OE processes with strong execution discipline
• Translate demand into supply and inventory plans
• Support Sales with visibility on availability, constraints, and trade-offs
• Balance availability, cost, and working capital

Inventory, Warehousing & Distribution (IWD)

• Own inbound, storage, and outbound product flow
• Ensure inventory accuracy, integrity, and optimal positioning
• Manage global logistics and 3PL performance
• Optimize distribution network, fulfillment, and last-mile delivery

Execution & Performance

• Define and track KPIs (OTIF, availability, lead time, etc.)
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Ensure execution discipline across teams and partners

Cost, Cash & Efficiency

• Optimize logistics and operational costs
• Improve working capital and inventory turns
• Increase throughput and flow efficiency

Processes & Systems

• Improve planning, fulfillment, and data visibility
• Implement scalable processes, tools, and analytics capabilities

Requirements:

• 5–10+ years in supply chain / value chain leadership, including at least 3 years in a Director-level or equivalent role
• Experience managing and developing cross-functional teams
• Experience with global logistics, fulfillment, and 3PLs
• Strong planning, inventory, and procurement expertise
• Proficiency with ERP and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent)
• Proven hands-on execution and transformation leadership
• Strong data and analytics capabilities, able to build and interpret supply chain performance dashboards
• Experience in medical device / consumer health / digital health — advantage
• Fluency in English required; additional languages an advantage
• Ownership and accountability, acts as a business owner, not just a function head

• Ability to connect commercial needs with operational execution
• Collaborative communicator who can align diverse stakeholders
