Vice President Finance

EVR Motors is looking for a talented, business-driven and hands-on VP Finance to join our team at EVR’s headquarters in Petach Tikva, Israel.

The role reports directly to the CEO and COO and serves as a key member of the company’s management team, leading the company’s financial, operational, legal-support and HR-related infrastructure across Israel and international subsidiaries.

The VP Finance will be responsible for scaling the company’s finance function, supporting strategic decision-making, ensuring financial control and compliance, managing investor and board reporting, and supporting the company’s global growth, commercial activity, funding processes and operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end finance operations, including reporting, budgeting, cash flow, payroll, billing, collections, vendor payments, controls and risk management.
• Own the preparation of financial statements, including consolidation of the parent company and international subsidiary.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages for management, the BoD, investors and other stakeholders.
• Lead budget planning, cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling and ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision making.
• Manage audit, tax, statutory reporting and compliance processes in Israel and international subsidiary, including coordination with auditors, tax advisors and external service providers.
• Oversee finance operations of international subsidiary, including intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, banking, payroll, tax and statutory compliance.
• Maintain an updated and investor ready data room and support due diligence processes, fundraising activity, investor requests and strategic transactions.
• Support commercial agreements from a financial and business perspective.
• Manage ESOP administration and compensation-related matters.
• Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, internal controls, reporting tools and scalable infrastructure.
• Own reporting to the IIA, including financial submissions and grant-related documentation.
• Drive inventory, costing and operational finance processes, including physical inventory count coordination, cost accounting initiatives, BoM/costing analysis and finance support for manufacturing activities.
• Act as a business partner to the management, providing financial insight, operational discipline and execution support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, MBA is an advantage
• CPA, Big 4 experience is an advantage.
• 7+ years of finance experience, including senior finance leadership roles in a technology, industrial or international company.
• Strong hands-on experience managing finance operations, including preparation of financial statements, consolidation, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, audit, tax, payroll, collections and internal controls.
• Experience working with management, boards, investors, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and external finance service providers.
• Experience with international operations, subsidiaries, intercompany transactions, cross-border payments, FX, transfer pricing and global compliance.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Commercial and business-oriented mindset, with the ability to support negotiations, deal structures, and contract-related financial matters.
• Excellent execution skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present financial and business matters clearly to management, investors and external advisors.
• Fluent English and Hebrew.
• Expert Excel skills and strong PPT and presentation capabilities.
