Operations Manager

Role Overview:

• Coordinating, tracking, and documenting investment activities related to the company and its clients.
• Providing service and support to company executives.
• Executing routine daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Recording investment transactions for the company and its clients, working across banking systems, internal platforms, and the marketing team.
• Monitoring & Documentation: Tracking and documenting investment activities across various systems.
• Financial Reporting: Characterizing and preparing financial reports for investment funds for analysis; identifying and escalating irregularities or discrepancies.
• Client Communication: Delivering information to clients based on marketing team specifications while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and other requirements.
• Banking Operations: Working directly with various banking systems.
• Compliance Audits: Conducting periodic audits to ensure the company meets all regulatory requirements.
• Settlement Monitoring: Tracking and monitoring the company's financial settlements with distributors.
• Reporting: Generating and distributing various monthly reports to clients.
• Insurance Coordination: Consolidating data and completing professional liability insurance questionnaires (typically on an annual basis).
• Data Control: Performing quality control and comparisons between different company databases to identify inconsistencies.
• Annual Monitoring: Tracking and controlling annual reports for various entities the company interacts with.
• Accounting Oversight: Monitoring and auditing periodic accounting reports (typically on a monthly basis).

Requirements:

• Background: Experience in Finance, Bookkeeping, or Banking.
• Languages: High proficiency in English (Writing, Reading, and Speaking).
• Experience: Prior experience in Banking or as an Economist – A significant advantage.
• Analytical Skills: Highly comfortable working with numbers and financial data.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in various software, web interfaces, and AI tools.
