Support Technician

Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a Tier 1 IT Support Technician

Role Overview:

Provide day-to-day technical support for organizational users while maintaining end-user devices and office IT infrastructure. The role includes supporting global teams, managing IT services and ensuring the stability of workplace technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing technical support and resolve daily user issues
• Manage and maintain end-user devices and laptops (primarily Mac, some Windows)
• Maintain office IT infrastructure including end-user equipment, AV systems and meeting rooms
• Support local and remote IT services across offices in Israel and APAC
• Work with ticketing systems and track incidents until resolution
• Collaborate with multiple departments and global IT teams
• Document processes and improve internal support procedures
• Support enterprise tools such as Google Workspace, Office 365, Zoom and Slack
• Provide AV support for meetings, events and live broadcasts

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in technical support / Help Desk / IT Support
• Basic experience managing end-user devices and laptops (approx. 90% Mac, 10% Windows)
• Basic networking knowledge including Switching, DNS, Routing, VLAN and DHCP
• Understanding of LAN/WAN environments, security and networking fundamentals
• Experience working with ticketing systems and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack)
• Ability to document processes and create operational procedures
• Experience supporting enterprise IT tools such as Google Workspace, Office 365, Zoom and Slack
• Familiarity with AV systems and meeting room support
• High level of English – required
