As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will take full strategic and technical ownership of key customer accounts throughout their lifecycle - from onboarding and implementation to full operationalization, optimization, and long-term growth.
This is a senior, high-impact role requiring deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to operate as a trusted advisor to enterprise-level customers. In addition to managing complex technical engagements, you will serve as a mentor and professional leader to junior team members, helping elevate the overall technical standard of the TAM organization.
You will act as the primary technical authority for your accounts while driving cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support to ensure a seamless and high-value customer experience.
- Own the full technical customer journey - onboarding, implementation, adoption, optimization, and expansion
- Serve as the senior technical point of contact and trusted advisor for strategic accounts
- Lead complex production deployments and large-scale implementations
- Build executive-level and technical stakeholder relationships within customer organizations
- Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and drive long-term account health
- Manage and resolve high-severity technical escalations in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and operational excellence
- Provide strategic product feedback and influence roadmap discussions
- Identify and support upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Establish and promote best practices around implementation, architecture, and product utilization
- Contribute to account health assessments from a technical and strategic perspective
- Mentor and guide junior Technical Account Managers, providing professional development support and technical leadership
- Lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions and process improvements
- 5-7+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Technical Customer Success, Post-Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles
- Proven experience working with enterprise customers and managing complex production environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux
- Solid expertise in Kubernetes, Kibana, and Networking
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical projects end-to-end
- Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority accounts in dynamic, high-pressure environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%
