Data Analyst

An established Israeli Fintech startup that develops an AI and Big Data-driven platform designed to map the "financial internet" to combat money laundering, tax evasion, and crypto-related fraud.

Following a successful Series B funding round from top-tier VCs, the company is entering a significant growth phase.

The organization is located in Central Tel Aviv (prime access to the train station) and operates a hybrid work model (one day per week from home).

Role Overview:

• Joining a newly established team within the R&D Department, reporting directly to the Data Team Lead.
• Taking end-to-end responsibility for data within the R&D environment, including defining Data Models and Data Flows.
• Ensuring the reliability and utility of data that drives the company’s core products.
• Collaborating closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to develop methodologies for Data Validation and Anomaly Detection.
• Performing complex data analysis to identify irregularities and insights that influence product strategy and client decisions.
• Utilizing a modern tech stack including Python, SQL, Airflow, and Spark.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst – Mandatory. (Exceptional candidates directly from elite military intelligence units will also be considered).
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL – Mandatory.
• Proven experience with Spark, Airflow, or equivalent data orchestration and processing technologies – Mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Business Flows and the ability to translate them into technical data requirements.
• Experience in high-scale data environments involving complex R&D challenges.
• High analytical capabilities with a focus on product impact.
