Senior FPGA Design Engineer

Smart-Shooter is looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer (Specializing in FPGA design) with strong capabilities in system and hardware-level design for leading development projects, hardware design, and working in a multi program, highly multidisciplinary environment.

The job includes development, and integration of FPGAs from low-level hardware control & status for embedded systems, to high-speed links, high level IP blocks and custom hardware-accelerated algorithms & filters.

Required Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in hardware engineering, knowledge of full product development life cycle (including system design, development, integration, testing, verification)
• Experience working in a company from Defense / automotive / medical devices sectors
• Experience in development of embedded systems (MCU/MPU) with peripheral interfaces (USB, I2C, SPI, storage, high speed serial I/F’s)
• Experience with FPGA development cycle )Code writing, simulation, implementation, P&R) – Must
• Experience with VHDL language – Must
• Experience in board design, board bring-up and debug of digital hardware
• Experience with Schematic design using ORCAD or similar package
• Experience in system integration, prototypes production
• Experience in embedded digital and analogue design
• Experience with lab equipment
• Team player
