We help engineering and supply chain teams make faster, more accurate sourcing decisions by turning technical drawings, BOMs, and supplier data into actionable insights using domain-specific AI.

Our platform connects design, engineering, and sourcing through a seamless, automated workflow - from drawing verification and BOM extraction to AI-driven cost estimation and vendor matching. The result: less manual work, lower costs, and faster time to market.

SOURCIX is already used by leading hardware companies and suppliers to validate mechanical drawings, extract structured manufacturing data, estimate pricing, and match with the right vendors - all powered by AI that actually understands real manufacturing data, not generic documents.

After successfully closing our seed round, we’re entering a major scaling phase and building the technical foundation for rapid growth and global expansion.

We’re looking for a VP R&D to lead SOURCIX’s engineering organization through its next stage of growth. This is a hands-on senior leadership role. You’ll work directly with the founders to define the technical vision, engineering culture, and execution strategy across multiple product lines.

You’ll own both:

• Core product engineering (Smart Tools, Marketplace, Platform APIs)
• AI / ML infrastructure (computer vision, geometry understanding, LLM-based reasoning)

This is a rare opportunity to architect the R&D organization and technology stack of a company reshaping a massive, underserved industrial market.

• Own engineering execution across all SOURCIX products - backend systems, AI pipelines, frontend applications, and infrastructure.
• Build, lead, and scale a high-performing engineering team, growing from the founding group to 10+ engineers within 18–24 months.
• Define and enforce technical excellence: architecture, development standards, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Partner closely with the founders on product strategy, prioritization, and long-term R&D roadmap.
• Lead development of AI-driven systems including:
• Drawing and document understanding
• Geometry and tolerance analysis
• ML / DL pipelines and LLM-based reasoning
• Establish engineering KPIs aligned with business outcomes (delivery velocity, uptime, performance, data accuracy, model throughput).
• Create a culture of ownership, speed, and accountability without compromising technical rigor.
• Contribute beyond code - influence company strategy, product-market fit, and customer impact.
  

• Experience leading or being part of an early-stage startup, scaling from ~3–10 engineers to 10+.
• 3–5+ years in senior engineering leadership or management roles.
• Strong background in software architecture, AI/ML systems, or data-intensive platforms.
• Proven experience shipping complex, scalable B2B SaaS products.
• Background in or exposure to high-bar product engineering cultures (e.g. Monday.com, Wix, Fiverr, SimilarWeb, Lemonade, or similar).
• Ability to move fast while maintaining long-term technical clarity.
• Strong systems thinking - you design processes and platforms, not just features.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Computer vision or geometry processing
• PDF / CAD / drawing parsing
• Manufacturing, procurement, or industrial platforms

• Real examples of scaling teams, systems, and engineering processes.
• A thoughtful approach to hiring, team structure, and technical decision-making.
• The ability to balance deep engineering judgment with business pragmatism.
• A track record of building reliable, elegant, data-driven products.
