Hardware Design Engineer

A successful startup developing systems, mini-computers (e.g., CuBox-like platforms), and computing modules for IoT, AI, networking, and OEM edge systems.

The company is located in northern Israel.

The role-

• Lead end-to-end hardware development, including digital logic design.
• Own the full development cycle: architecture, detailed design, layout, signal and power integrity simulations, integration, design validation, characterization, and release to production.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience developing CPU boards.
• Experience with high-speed protocols (10 Gb/s and above), including PCIe, DDR, and USB 3.2.
• Experience with low-speed interfaces, such as SPI and UART.
• Strong understanding of digital circuit design principles, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI considerations.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment, including DVMs, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Experience with CAD tools, including OrCAD Capture.
• Embedded systems design experience – an advantage.
