Hardware Design Engineer

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer (Board Design) to join a leading company developing advanced military systems for land, naval, and airborne platforms.

The role involves end-to-end design, development, and integration of electronic boards, from initial concept through serial production. This is a fully hands-on position, requiring independent work and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

The role is based on-site at the company offices and includes occasional international travel (approximately 1–2 trips per year).

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture definition and development of analog and digital electronic boards, with an emphasis on video systems (analog & digital)
• Leading the electronic design lifecycle end-to-end: concept, PDR / CDR / SDR, schematic design, and full board bring-up
• Close collaboration with PCB designers, manufacturers, and subcontractors, including transfer to production and follow-up
• Writing and maintaining hardware specifications (SPEC) and supporting hardware–software integration
• Planning and executing tests: acceptance tests, ATP, burn-in, environmental tests, and RFI/EMI
• Design and implementation of test jigs and fixtures
• Full system-level integration and participation in system tests and trials

Requirements:

• Proven experience in analog and digital board design
• Proficiency with CAD design tools (strong advantage for OrCAD)
• Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes
• High level of independence, personal responsibility, and system-level thinking
