📍 Haifa Area, Israel

A leading and fast-growing global medical device company is seeking an experienced VP Engineering to lead the company’s entire engineering activity, with full responsibility for manufacturing engineering, NPI, process optimization, and operational excellence.

This is a senior executive leadership role, responsible for translating R&D innovation into scalable, reliable, and high-quality manufacturing processes, while driving continuous improvement and efficiency across the organization.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the company’s engineering strategy and execution
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) from development to mass production
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and manufacturing scalability
• Oversee quality systems and ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and global regulations
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex engineering projects
• Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and operational excellence methodologies
• Act as a key member of the executive leadership team, working closely with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain

✅ Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred: Industrial, Biomedical, or Manufacturing Engineering)
• 10+ years of senior engineering leadership experience in medical device manufacturing or a highly regulated industry
• Proven hands-on experience in NPI, manufacturing optimization, and quality systems
• Strong regulatory expertise: FDA, ISO 13485, including active 510(k) maintenance
• Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC
• Extensive experience managing large, cross-functional engineering teams
• Strong background in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and continuous quality improvement
• Excellent leadership, communication, and executive-level influencing skills
