Director of Engineering

Wanted: Director of Engineering for a New York–based AI platform company (full‑time remote with U.S. travel).

The chosen candidate will architect, deliver, and scale a sophisticated AI‑driven institutional platform, work closely with executive leadership, integrate complex data systems, and operate as a senior technical leader with significant strategic influence. The role includes periodic travel to the United States for leadership alignment and on‑site collaboration.

Job Responsibilities:

● Lead engineering and product delivery across the AI platform, from architecture and data integration to client-facing workflows.

● Collaborate closely with leadership to embed engineering and product excellence into a high‑touch, white‑glove service model.

● Design and integrate complex data systems into a unified ontology, transforming diverse datasets into institutional‑grade products.

● Tailor product solutions for stakeholders such as pensions, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and corporates.

● Work directly with capital partners and clients to understand needs and rapidly iterate on product solutions.

● Build and lead the engineering and product organization, including hiring, mentoring, and scaling a high‑performance team.

● Balance speed and rigor while ensuring reliability, security, and professional discretion.

● Act as a senior operator contributing to commercial momentum, contract wins, and long‑term platform strategy.

Job Requirements:

● Proven track record delivering complex engineering and product systems in fast‑moving, high‑expectation environments.

● Experience working with large institutions or enterprises (e.g., $1B+ market cap or revenue), with strong appreciation for trust and service quality.

● Strong technical foundation across engineering, product, systems architecture, and data, with the ability to integrate and reason across multiple datasets.

● High agency, proactive mindset, and the ability to anticipate engineering and product needs.

● Prior experience building and leading teams — or clear readiness to step into leadership.

● Ability to travel to the United States as needed for strategic meetings and on‑site collaboration.
