Software Engineer Team Leader - 229533

A global high-tech cybersecurity company is seeking a Software Engineer Team Leader for the development team working on advanced cloud solutions, distributed systems, and multi-technology environments – as part of the company’s global development group.

Tel Aviv | Full-time | Hybrid

Role Responsibilities:

• Provides guidance and leadership in designing and developing reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for system components or subsystems, including advising on handling high-risk situations.
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies to ensure alignment with the technology roadmap and business needs, and creates plans for their integration and updates into the existing architecture.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities according to development guidelines and standards, providing feedback to improve product quality and reduce risks.
• Mentors others and serves as a role model for innovation and excellence in software systems design and development.
• Analyzes scientific, engineering, business, and other data-processing issues to develop and implement solutions for complex application problems, system management, or network-related challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in the field.
• 2–3 years of managerial experience.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C.
• Full proficiency in Hebrew and fluent communication in English.
• Deep expertise in software systems design, development methodologies, and integration across diverse platforms and technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud security principles, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Firewalls, VPN, and routing systems.
• Proven track record of innovation, including patents or deployed solutions in software design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate solutions at business unit and executive levels.
