Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Haifa for a PhD Student in Meller’s lab, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering. The PhD candidate will engage in advanced research under the guidance of Prof. Meller, contribute to the development of innovative single molecule techniques for advanced proteomics and genomics, with biomedical applications.
The role includes conducting experiments, analyzing data, preparing presentations and reports, attending academic conferences, and contributing to academic papers and publications. The candidate will be expected to support departmental activities and actively participate in fostering a culture of academic excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and experimental research skills, including experience in experimental design, data collection, and statistical analysis.
- Proven expertise in scientific writing, critical thinking, and the ability to produce academic publications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for teamwork and engagement with the academic community.
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in a relevant field with strong academic performance; prior research experience is advantageous.
- Motivation for innovation and solving complex problems; readiness to work in an interdisciplinary and challenging environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
