VP Sales – Cybersecurity (Global Enterprise)
Reports to: CEO
Team: Global Sales (Americas, EMEA, APAC)
About the Role
We’re a fast-growing cybersecurity company backed by more than $100M in funding, serving global enterprise customers. We’re looking for a VP Sales who has already led a startup through rapid scale and driven a successful exit. This is a role for someone who knows how to build repeatable enterprise motions, lead a high-performing global team, and execute with discipline in a competitive market.
Responsibilities
- Own all global revenue targets and drive predictable, scalable enterprise sales across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
- Build, mentor, and expand a world-class sales organization including AEs, SDRs, sales engineering, and regional leaders
- Develop and execute enterprise sales strategy for Tier-1 and Tier-2 customers across key verticals
- Establish clear KPIs, operational rigor, and forecasting accuracy
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to tighten the full go-to-market engine
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with CISOs, CIOs, security architects, procurement, and legal
- Drive global channel and strategic alliances programs where relevant
- Build pricing, packaging, and land-and-expand models that support long-term growth
- Prepare the company for exit-level maturity (M&A readiness, due diligence processes, enterprise governance, and revenue predictability)
- Represent the company externally in conferences, analyst briefings, and with strategic customers
Requirements
- 10+ years in cybersecurity sales with deep enterprise experience
- Proven track record as a VP Sales or similar executive in a fast-growth startup that reached exit (acquisition or IPO)
- Strong experience running global sales teams and operating across multiple geographies and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale repeatable enterprise sales motions from $10M ARR up to $100M+
- Expertise in complex, multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles with Fortune 1000 companies
- Strong analytical and operational discipline: forecasting, pipeline management, quotas, comp plans
- Ability to collaborate tightly with Product and R&D to influence roadmap based on customer and market feedback
- Excellent communication skills and presence with C-level decision makers
- High comfort level in a dynamic, rapidly changing startup environment
