Manufacturing Engineer – Mechanical Systems

About the Role:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer – Mechanical Systems to join our Military Aircraft Division.

In this role, you will develop and implement manufacturing processes for advanced aerospace components and assemblies, while influencing product design for manufacturability and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize technological and manufacturing processes for mechanical and aeronautical components and assemblies.
• Provide engineering support from early design stages through serial production.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, production, and customers in Israel and abroad.
• Participate in and lead design and manufacturing reviews with design engineering teams, subcontractors, and production floors.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or Practical Engineer in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in planning manufacturing methods, production lines, and tooling – mandatory.
• Proven experience providing engineering support to production lines – mandatory.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) – mandatory.
• Experience in the aerospace industry – significant advantage.
• Experience with mechanical design using advanced CAD tools – mandatory.
• Knowledge of NX/UG – advantage.
• Experience preparing work instructions and method cards in SAP environment – advantage.
• Familiarity with composite materials and related manufacturing technologies – advantage.
• Willingness to travel abroad for training, production support, and technical supervision – required.
