A leading company in its field located in Karmiel is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer.

The R&D department includes about 60 employees: the R&D manager, team leaders, technicians, and engineers working across software, hardware, and mechanical sub-departments.

We are looking for an engineer to take part in developing electronic power-supply boards, integration, electrical testing for modules and power supplies, validation, and work on DC-DC and AC-DC systems.

The role includes responsibility for the full development cycle — from the initial design stage through to the final product, including performance analysis, optimization, and laboratory testing.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing power supplies, power circuits, and analog circuits – required.
• Strong knowledge in designing DC-AC, DC-DC converters, and PFC (Power Factor Correction) – required.
• Experience in analog circuit design: power amplifiers, feedback systems, transformers, and switching components – required.
• Ability to analyze thermal and electromagnetic performance of power supplies and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce EMI – required.
• Full proficiency in circuit design and analysis using simulation tools such as Matlab, PSpice, SIMetrix, LTspice – required.
• Experience working with advanced power components: GaN, SiC, MOSFET, IGBT – required.
• Hands-on experience in lab testing using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, load testers, and similar equipment – required.
• Proficiency with schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD – required.
• Knowledge of relevant communication protocols (CAN, RS485, I²C, SPI) for power-supply control interfaces – required.
• Strong understanding of power-supply compliance standards (IEC, UL, EMI/EMC) – required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering — preference for a power-engineering specialization.
