Company Description
Asio develops battle-proven solutions for tactical forces, including mission enhancement systems, jamming-resistant self-positioning for aerial platforms, and advanced target acquisition technologies, all powered by our proprietary GeoFusion™ core.
We are seeking a Software Development Group Leader to oversee a multidisciplinary software team (~10 developers) across Android, .NET, C++, and embedded technologies. The role combines hands-on development, architecture, and technical leadership, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable, and integrated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a growing software team, nominate tech leads, and ensure performance and collaboration
- Participate in architecture, coding, and design across Android, .NET, and embedded systems
- Design and implement client-server systems, API/SDK integrations, and scalable solutions
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and other technical teams to define features and improvements
- Drive Agile processes and CI/CD pipelines, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Conduct performance assessments and mentor team members
Requirements
- 10+ years in software development, 3+ years leading a software group of at least 10 developers
- Experience with Android (Java/Kotlin), .NET/C#, C++, embedded systems
- Solid understanding of client-server architectures, APIs, and SDK integrations
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with large-scale, multidisciplinary systems (mobile, desktop, hardware integration) – advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
