Data Analyst, Performance - Temporary

Fiverr is looking for a brilliant Data Analyst to join our fast-growing company and Data department.

As part of this role, you will join the Performance Analytics team, which takes a central and holistic position in the company. You will be in charge of defining and monitoring high-level company KPIs that are reported to executives and suggesting proactive actions that create meaningful business impact. You will work both independently and collaboratively on some of the most interesting and innovative analyses in the online industry.

We’re looking for someone who is AI-native, tech-savvy, and curious by nature — a self-learner who takes ownership, explores automation and AI tools to enhance analytical workflows, and proactively turns data into action.

This position is temporary, a replacement for maternity leave.

What am I going to do?:

• Serve as the data analyst focal point for all business & engineering-related teams
• Define new business KPIs, unit objectives, and create supportive infrastructure for measuring them
• Track and analyze business performance wisely, alerting and investigating abnormal trends
• Provide actionable recommendations and conclusions based on in-depth analysis to various stakeholders
• Leverage AI-driven tools and automations to streamline analysis, detect insights faster, and optimize data operations
• Manage multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills
• At least 3 years of experience as a business or data analyst (online industry advantage)
• BA/B.Sc. in Industrial/Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent
• Ability to identify root causes behind vague trend behaviors and craft a clear data story from them
• Good presentation skills
• Vast knowledge of SQL – ability to write complex logic and create advanced ETL scripts – Must
• Expert level with reporting platforms and data visualization – Must (Tableau advantage)
• Expert level in working with Big Data tools (BigQuery advantage)
• Comfortable adopting and experimenting with new AI and automation tools to enhance data efficiency and insights delivery
• Independent, proactive, and curious mindset – a true self-learner who drives impact without waiting for direction
