About The Role

We are looking for an Data Analyst for a maternity leave (with option to extend), who wants to make a strong impact by implementing detailed investment policy configurations (Python) and performing comprehensive quality checks, ensuring that the policy delivers the required portfolio KPI’s.The Analysts conduct various analyses projects, highly influencing the business aspects of the company. You should be comfortable working quickly and handling a busy workload, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and critical thinking while collaborating effectively with both highly technical teams and executive stakeholders.

This individual will join the Portfolio Management & Research department, and will be part of a team that has both data scientists and data analysts, focusing on the company's main credit products and working closely with the production environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing and implementing (Python) underwriting policies in the production environment.
• Perform quality analytics checks to ensure the policy logic meets the defined requirements (Portfolio KPI’s) and works correctly in all scenarios, with a direct impact on the overall performance and outcomes of the portfolio.
• Conducting tests to evaluate each component of the policy configuration to validate the results.
• Monitoring of the policy behavior in production and analyze if the actual results meet the expectations.
• Demonstrate the ability to present and provide meaningful business insights from data.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.
• Create innovative & interactive dashboards, scorecards, and weekly/monthly reports on the status of key business measurements tailored to all audiences (from executive management to business line employees) using BI tools, Python and SQL queries.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or other quantitative disciplines required.
• 1-2 years of proven track record in analyzing data using Python and SQL.
• Experience with Pandas/ Numpy.
• Working with BI systems, and understanding software systems architecture and databases.
• Proven track record of handling large complex datasets, while being detail-oriented and maintaining accuracy.
• Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively, thriving in high-pressure environments.
• Ability to step outside of an existing process and redefine it and the capability to implement processes where one is lacking.
• Experience with Looker - an advantage.
