Project FocusThe selected PhD candidate will join Prof. Shlomi Arnon's research group at Ben-Gurion University to work on a cutting-edge project: Brain Subsurface Imaging using Diffuse Optical Tomography (DOT). This research involves developing and applying advanced optical techniques for non-invasive imaging of the brain's sub-surface layers.
Candidate RequirementsThe ideal candidate must possess:
- Education: A Master's degree from a reputable institution in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science).
- Research Quality: A proven record of research excellence, demonstrated by a high-quality Master's thesis.
- Core Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of Mathematics and Physics.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in scientific computing and simulation, specifically with MATLAB and/or Python.
