Human Resources Manager

Out for Change, an NGO supporting individuals transitioning from the Haredi community into Israeli society, is in a significant stage of growth and development, and looking for a Human Resources Manager. The position combines strategic planning and overall responsibility for HR with hands-on work, closely supporting managers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment processes: defining profiles, job postings, interviews, background checks, onboarding, and full integration of new hires
• Develop and execute an annual welfare and employee engagement plan, including retention initiatives
• Oversee the work environment (offices, equipment, supplies) and employee events
• Lead performance reviews, engagement surveys, training, and manager development programs, and generate reports on hiring, turnover, satisfaction, and engagement
• Manage policies related to ethics, sexual harassment prevention, attendance, vacation, and on/off-boarding

Requirements

• At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization
• Strong background in recruitment and retention processes
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to shift between strategic thinking and hands-on daily operations
• Strong collaboration, service orientation, organizational skills, and accuracy
• Personal connection to the organization’s mission

Position Details

• Reports directly to the CEO and is part of the management team
• Full-time position, hybrid work model: 3 days/week in our Tel Aviv office, with travel as needed to Jerusalem and Haifa
