Program Manager Close Range Mission LOB

DRS RADA is a global pioneer of RADAR systems for active protection systems radars, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance. We are looking for a talented Program Manager to join our team!

Overview

• This position requires extensive experience ( at least 10 years) in program management, business development and technical know how in army mobile units as well as the defense industry eco-system – major defense army/ground systems prime contractors in Israel and Rest of the world.
• Strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced and challenging environment .
• The Program Manager reports to the Sr. Director who manages the Close Range Line of Business (LOB).
• The Program Manager has prime responsibility for managing development and production programs, while ensuring that program objectives (technical, financial and schedule) are fully met.
• This role covers all stages from marketing support (responding to RFIs/RFPs, engaging with potential customers and expanding offerings for current customers), through product development to production deliveries and successful installation and implementation in the field.
  
  

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in army programs management (Israeli Army, MANTAK, HATAL, Defense industries- combat vehicles programs) or a commanding position in the Army- Company commander and above in Armor, Infantry or engineering corps.
• Business development experience in the defense industry, army programs
• Program management or system engineering experience.
• BA/BSc degree in relevant fields.
• Ability to lead in a matrix organizational environment with multiple interfaces
• Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in decision-making in under dynamic and uncertain conditions
• Excellent analytical and methodological approach, problem-solving skills
• Hands-on, “can-do” attitude, responsive and be “on site”.
• Good English, verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel to customer and rada locations in Israel on a daily basis.
