Project Manager

At BlueBird Aero Systems, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Loitering Munitions & Strike Systems Division.

This is a central, hands-on role managing aerial platform projects throughout their lifecycle — from contractual engagement and development through production, integration, testing, and delivery.

You’ll work closely with local and international customers, partners, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams across the company, driving projects from planning to execution.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and lead projects involving aerial platforms – loitering munitions and UAS.
• Plan, execute, and monitor projects and contractual engagements with internal and international stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and drive project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Support development processes, including needs definition, failure analysis, lessons learned, and improvement initiatives.
• Support the development of multi-year work plans.
• Lead failure identification, analysis, and resolution from production through customer delivery.
• Develop work instructions, system documentation, and product catalogs.
• Support the planning and execution of test programs, including test instructions and field execution.
• Support customer and supplier negotiations, contractual engagements, and procurement processes.
• Translate contractual requirements into work instructions, production processes, and integration activities.
• Lead and support the establishment of production lines overseas.
• Support the integration of systems and assemblies, including warhead-related components.
• Prepare and support product demonstrations in Israel and abroad.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience as a Project Officer (mil.) or Project Manager.
• Proven experience managing projects involving aerial platforms – loitering munitions / UAS.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Exact Sciences.
• Experience working with customers, suppliers, and international stakeholders.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel abroad.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a system-level perspective.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience leading procurement, development, and/or integration of aerial or robotic systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, including production, integration, and quality processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, including building product trees and supporting production and integration processes.
• Additional language skills.
