Vice President of Engineering

We are a high-growth SaaS company with a rapidly scaling web and mobile product.

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic engineering leader to drive technological excellence, scale the team, and lead product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Product Leadership

• Lead and expand an engineering organization of 30+ full-stack professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• Build, mentor, and retain top talent while creating clear career development paths and performance frameworks.
• Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from architecture to delivery, ensuring alignment with product and business goals.
• Implement agile methodologies to accelerate delivery and maintain high-quality standards.

Technical Strategy & Execution

• Remain deeply technical, conducting regular code reviews and setting high engineering standards.
• Provide architectural vision for scalable, performant, and secure web and mobile platforms.
• Lead modernization and optimization of the technology stack (with a strong focus on Python and React).
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices and continuous improvement processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with product, design, and business leadership to translate strategy into technical roadmaps.
• Ensure seamless communication between engineering and non-engineering teams.

Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of engineering leadership experience, including managing and scaling teams of 30+ engineers.
• Proven track record in building and growing high-performance engineering teams.
• Advanced full-stack development skills, with hands-on experience in Python and React.
• Deep understanding of: Modern web technologies (React, Node.js, TypeScript), Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Microservices architecture, and Mobile development platforms.
• Strong technological curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for driving innovation.
• Ability to balance technical depth with a strategic business perspective.
