About UsMarketily is a growth and performance marketing company that helps brands scale with creative, data-driven funnels and ad strategies. We’re looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team and bring our ad campaigns to life with scroll-stopping creative.
Role OverviewWe’re looking for a creative, fast, and detail-oriented Video Editor who knows how to craft engaging video ads for Meta (Facebook, Instagram) Ads funnels and more. Your role requires having a sharp analytical mindset, capable of reviewing campaign performance data to guide future ad production.
The ideal candidate can not only craft compelling Meta ads and more, but also interpret results to optimize content strategy and maximize impact.
You’ll be responsible for producing weekly ad variations (3–5+ per week), editing long-form sales videos (VSLs), handling other funnel-related video needs as they arise as well as reviewing and advising on performance and optimization of the videos.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and understands how to edit not just for aesthetics, but for conversions and results.
Responsibilities- Edit weekly ad variations (primarily intro hooks, 3–5+ per week).
- Cut and repurpose content into short-form ads, teasers, and UGC-style edits.
- Edit and refine long-form sales videos (VSLs) for funnels as needed.
- Add captions, motion graphics, and simple effects to increase engagement.
- Optimize pacing, sound, and visuals to maximize ad performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ad ideas and video content strategy with campaign objectives and audience targeting.
- Stay on top of industry trends and bring fresh creative approaches.
- Analyze performance metrics (CTR, engagement, ROAS, etc.) from Meta ad campaigns to identify patterns and actionable insights.
- Translate campaign data into clear recommendations for new creative concepts and video edits.
- Continuously test and iterate on ad variations to improve conversion rates and overall performance.
- Maintain a data-driven workflow, balancing creativity with performance optimization.
- Proven experience editing direct-response ads and social media content. Experience with VSLs is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing ad-style edits (Meta, TikTok, or YouTube ads preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar editing software.
- Ability to create quick variations and test multiple hooks.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and attention-grabbing intros.
- Experience adding captions, subtitles, and light motion graphics.
- Fast turnaround time and ability to meet weekly deadlines.
- A/B testing mindset—open to iterating based on performance data.
- Familiarity with direct-response marketing and sales funnels.
- Experience working with health, wellness and/or e-commerce brands.
- Motion graphics / After Effects skills.
- Expertise in all things video, lighting, sound and production for the current media landscape.
