VP Engineering & NPI

Location: Raanana , Israel. Employment: Full-time Reports to: CEO

Role Overview

IginTech, a leading developer of advanced hygiene and healthcare systems, is seeking a VP of Engineering & NPI to lead the engineering and development team from Design to mass production. The role includes full Product Life Cycle ownership, collaboration with global manufacturing partners, leading QA/ATP processes and ensuring CE/UL compliance, while driving NPI methodologies and supporting future innovation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering organization: mechanics, electronics, software, and testing.

• Full ownership of product development, mechanical/electrical design, integration, and testing.

• Manage NPI processes – from Design Freeze to mass production.

• Work closely with international manufacturing partners (Sanmina, Variscite, etc.).

• Ownership of BOM, COGS analysis, and cost optimization.

• Oversee QA/ATP processes, Accelerated Life Testing (ALT), and product reliability programs.

• Ensure compliance with CE, UL, ISO, standards.

• Develop engineering methodologies, documentation, and SLA frameworks.

• Support service, manufacturing, and marketing teams.

• Provide regular reporting to executive management and the Board.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical / Electrical– mandatory.

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing engineering & development teams in Medical Devices or Consumer Electronics.

• Proven experience leading NPI and transferring products from development to mass production. • Experience working with global EMS/CM partners.

• Strong knowledge of QA processes, standards, and quality control.

• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

• Fluent English (written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or hygiene systems.

• Familiarity with EU and US regulatory processes.

• Background in automation/robotics development
