About the Role

I’m hiring a Fractional Finance Manager to establish reliable financial systems across both personal and early-stage startup contexts. This is a part-time, specialist role designed for someone with a background in finance operations, bookkeeping, or controllership.

The goal is to provide clear monthly financial reporting and reliable execution of transactions, ensuring that both personal and pre-seed startup finances are tracked and managed without requiring founder involvement in day-to-day details.

Responsibilities

• Track personal monthly burn, dividend income, and buffer.
• Maintain a simple runway dashboard updated monthly.
• Prepare a concise one-page monthly financial report.
• Interface with advisors for admin follow-ups.
• Manage wires, payments, filings, and subscriptions.
• Ensure deadlines for taxes, invoices, and compliance are met.
• Track early startup expenses, vendor invoices, and advisor equity documentation.
• Build simple reporting templates (cash burn, cap table hygiene) in preparation for fundraising.

Requirements

• Experience in finance operations, bookkeeping, or fractional CFO/controller roles.
• Precision and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
• Ability to present financial data clearly and simply.
• Comfortable working in lean, pre-funded startup environments.
