We work with fintech, blockchain, cybersecurity and gaming companies to distribute and display their news announcements on industry-focused websites. Our multiniche publisher network and our automated platform delivers fast content publications and brand exposure.
Role description
The Account Executive is responsible for generating sales, building client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Identify and pursue collaborations and business opportunities with world-leading brands in various niches through cold outreach, LinkedIn hunting, market intelligence, conferences, and more.
Develop and nurture existing relationships to expand our collaborations and upsell strategic clients. Eloquently demonstrate how our solution empowers our clients and provides them with the tools they need to meet their marketing goals.
Responsibilities:
• Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing business opportunities. Develop a sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct demo/sales calls to leads (marketing agencies, CMOs, PR managers).
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and potential business opportunities. Stay informed about industry developments and changes.
• Evaluate business opportunities and identify untapped verticals we may approach.
• Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of trends, technologies, and regulatory developments in the blockchain and Web3 space. Leverage this knowledge to position our solutions effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure client needs are met and to develop new sales strategies.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts to management. Utilize CRM systems to manage client interactions and sales processes.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of company products and services to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
• Achievement of Goals: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Reports to VP Sales.
Requirements:
• English as a first language (or as good as it).
• 2+ years of global B2B tech sales experience & familiarity with the worlds of Public Relations/Journalism/Content.
• Proven sales experience in the blockchain, cryptocurrency, or Web3 industries.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to create connections with people.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus: Weekend and evening availability (remote)
• Willingness to travel as required.
