We are looking for a part time Social Media Associate to join our team, to help manage the day to day interactions, account management, and keep our brand at the forefront of online conversations.

What you will do

1. Community Engagement 

• Monitor and respond to direct messages and comments (primarily Instagram).
• Re-share followers’ stories and highlight user-generated content.
• Post planned content according to the content calendar.
• Maintain a consistent brand presence across platforms.

2. Strategy

• Participate in brainstorming sessions with the marketing team.
• Provide input for monthly content calendars.
• Suggest new campaign ideas, themes, and storytelling formats that will resonate with photographers.
• Track and analyze social media trends, emerging formats, and platform updates — and propose ways to creatively adapt them for Pic-Time’s audience.

3. Execution 

• Develop photo, video, and written content tailored to our audience.
• Create Instagram Reels from start to finish — including concept development, filming, editing, and posting.
• Edit video and photo content to match brand guidelines and visual style.
• Write captions, stories, and post copy in line with Pic-Time’s brand voice.
• Collaborate with the team to align content with product launches and seasonal campaigns.

Requirements

• Located in the US. (East coast preferred)
• A photographer who uses Pic-Time regularly with in-depth, working knowledge of its features, tools, and workflows.
• Proven experience creating social media content, including full Reels production (concept → shoot → edit → publish).
• Skilled in video and photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar).
• Product and tech oriented — comfortable learning new tools, explaining platform features, and creating content that highlights product benefits.
• Well-versed in current social media trends and algorithms.
• A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovative ideas.
• A good eye for design, aesthetics, and brand alignment.
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Clear and positive communicator.

Availability

• This is a half-time position, approximately 20 hours per week.
• Work during the day, with flexibility, but must be available to start at 9:00 AM PST.
• Fridays require higher availability.
• Extended availability during holidays and special campaigns.
