Quality Assurance Engineer

The company develops tools for AI developers, focusing on bug detection and explainability. Their platform helps Data Scientists and developers optimize their work by analyzing AI models and deriving insights into each model’s strengths and weaknesses. It can identify the specific data that caused an issue and suggest actions for improvement.

Founded in 2019, the company has raised a Seed round and is now growing, with paying customers using the platform in production.

The company is located in central Israel near a train station, operates a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week, and employs 20 people, including 13 in R&D.

Responsibilities-

• Establish and lead the company’s QA function from scratch
• Perform manual testing for the AI cloud product (C/S) in Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Elasticsearch environments
• Transition QA processes toward automation over time
• Collaborate with developers and Data Scientists to identify and resolve AI model issues
• Opportunity to transition into development for candidates interested in growth
• Contribute to building robust testing frameworks and best practices

Requirements-

• 2 years of manual testing experience.
• One years of automation testing experience (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
• Experience with web application and API testing.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup.
