Software Test Engineer

The role involves leading testing activities for complex systems while ensuring product quality throughout the various stages of the development lifecycle. This position requires a broad understanding of multidisciplinary systems and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic technological environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze system requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies for multidisciplinary systems.
2. Create detailed Test Plans and Test Cases.
3. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across hardware and software components.
4. Identify, document, track, and verify defects through to resolution.
5. Work closely with Development, Engineering, and Product Management teams.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field), or at least 7 years of professional experience testing multidisciplinary systems involving software, hardware, and communication technologies.
2. Proven experience testing complex systems and multi-layered environments.
3. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
4. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
5. Knowledge and hands-on experience with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422, and RS-485.
6. Experience in writing and maintaining test documentation.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
