This is a full-time, on-site role for a PhD Candidate at the Israel National Food Institute in Tel Hai. The PhD Candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced research in food science, analyzing data, and developing new methodologies and processes. They will collaborate with other researchers, prepare reports, and contribute to academic publications and presentations. Additionally, the PhD Candidate will be expected to assist in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

• Strong analytical and research skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in food science or a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with laboratory techniques and safety protocols
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
• Commitment to pursuing a PhD in a relevant subject area
• Experience in academic writing and publishing is a plus
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple research projects
