Data Pricing Analyst

Rapaport Group is looking for a Data Analyst to play a key role in maintaining and refining our pricing tools, updating routine reports, developing innovative pricing tools and analyzing market trends within the diamond industry.

This position involves working with large datasets, managing and updating regular reports, refining pricing methodologies, and leveraging data insights to enhance our products and services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills and experience with financial and market data. Additionally, this role will require monitoring AI advancements, engaging with dealers to gather market intelligence, and collaborating with internal teams to improve data products.

This is hybrid position located in Ramat Gan, Israel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain pricing reports to ensure timely and accurate market insights.
• Conduct routine data processing and validation to support internal pricing models and reports.
• Monitor and analyze RapNet’s diamond inventory and market trends.
• Develop and improve data pricing tools to support internal pricing models and potential market applications.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of RapNet’s diamond inventory and market trends.
• Advise on enhancements and corrections to existing data products.
• Monitor AI advancements and assess their potential applications for increased efficiency.
• Present Rapaport Analytics insights to clients and gather feedback for improvements.
• Analyze auction results, global diamond production, and financial data of industry players.
• Track and analyze global diamond trade, including import/export and KP data.
• Engage with market dealers to gain insights into pricing trends and data needs.
• Collect and analyze external B2C natural and synthetic diamond pricing trends.
• Prepare content and insights for RapNet’s LinkedIn blog, “The Diamond Pulse.”
• Review and present weekly price changes on RapNet during pricing calls.
• Review industry reports to extract key statistics and trends.
• Represent the pricing team in monthly management meetings.
  
  

• 2-3 years of experience in data analysis
• Expert in Python (Especially Pandas library and Numpy) - Required
• Expert in Excel - Required
• Proficient in SQL - Required
• Experience working in the diamond indusrty - Required
• Statistics and Data Visualization
• Tableau – preferred
• Understanding financial statements/financial analysis
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Languages: Native Level English and Advanced Hebrew - Required
