Network and Cyber Security specialist

Job Purpose:

Operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the organization’s information security systems.

What will your day look like?

• Responsible for investigating complex events identified as suspicious activity.
• Managing and maintaining remote access systems, content filtering solutions, Firewalls, WAF, EDR/XDR.
• Managing and maintaining cloud configurations (AWS, Azure, Office365, Salesforce).
• Managing and maintaining data leakage and data sanitization systems.
• Responsible for maintaining monitoring systems for communication equipment, servers, and endpoints.
• Managing and maintaining wireless networks.
• Handling ongoing security incidents in coordination with SEIM/SOC providers.
• Managing, setting up, configuring, and maintaining routers and switches.
• Providing support to over 1,000 end-users.

Who is the role suitable for?

• Minimum 4 years of experience in organizational information security and networking – mandatory.
• Experience working with at least one firewall vendor (Checkpoint, Fortinet, or Palo Alto) – mandatory.
• Experience with Cisco equipment – advantage (knowledge of IOS and Nexus OS).
• Military experience in communications and information security – advantage.
• Certifications in information security and networking – advantage.
• Experience working in virtualized server environments (VMware) – advantage.
