About the role

We’re looking for a skilled and driven Full Stack Team Lead to spearhead the development of Hear’s next-generation web applications. This role combines hands-on full stack development with team leadership, and is ideal for someone who thrives on both coding and guiding others.

You’ll lead and mentor a team of 3–4 developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape complex, scalable systems in a dynamic, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 developers, including task planning, technical guidance, and team collaboration.
• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern full stack technologies.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices with Next.js and NestJS.
• Ensure performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Manage code with Atlassian Bitbucket and participate in code reviews and agile workflows.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design for long-term scalability.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of proven experience in leading or managing a development team.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer, with strong expertise in Node.js and Python.
• Proven experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and back-end languages, with required expertise in both NestJS, Next.js, and Python.
• Deep understanding of databases, including both SQL and NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB).
• Proficiency in version control systems, especially Atlassian Bitbucket, and familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
• Experience designing and working with complex, large-scale system architectures.
• Familiarity with Jira and hands-on experience in managing tasks and agile sprints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
