HR Manager – Relocation to APAC

A well-established international healthcare provider is seeking a strategic and experienced HR professional to oversee HR operations across multiple establishments located within the same city in a developing country in Asia. This is an HR Manager/Senior BP level role.

While we cannot disclose the specific country at this stage, the role requires close coordination across sites and a strong on-the-ground presence.

This is a mission-critical role demanding strategic insight, agility, and the ability to manage diverse teams and shifting business needs with speed and confidence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and retention strategies
• Manage relocation and work permit processes, legal documentation, and integration for expatriate staff
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and HR best practices
• Use data-driven insights to elevate performance, engagement, and team dynamics
• Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a bridge to multicultural, cross-functional teams
• Champion a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
• Liaise with external partners, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies as needed
• Lead and develop an HR team across multiple site locations

Requirements:

• MUST: 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in fast-paced or regulated environments
• MUST: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Law, or Business (mandatory for work permit eligibility)
• MUST: Strong operational HR knowledge with a collaborative mindset
• MUST: Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• MUST: Willingness to be relocated to the APAC region, with occasional local travel
• Experience working in international or multicultural teams
• Solid understanding of HR operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate with clarity, and solve problems proactively
