We’re now seeking our first marketing hire to launch our founding marketing team:
a strategic builder who thrives in early-stage startups, excels at hands-on execution, and can own our marketing function from end-to-end.
Role Overview:
As our first Marketing hire you will lead all marketing initiatives from foundational strategy and messaging to tactical execution across events, field marketing, demand generation, content creation, and digital presence. Your first mission: optimize the company’s messaging and positioning according to the needs and pain points defined by our ICP. You will then build the core strategy, workflows and channels required to amplify our brand and value, build and execute our launch plan, and establish a clear go-to-market strategy to support early sales momentum. You'll be integral to positioning the company for long-term growth.
This role demands a hands-on, versatile marketer with proven success in early-stage environments, preferably within cybersecurity, and who is fluent in English (bilingual or native proficiency is a strong advantage).

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive all aspects of marketing strategy and execution, including field marketing (events, conferences, webinars), demand generation, digital marketing, content, and brand positioning.
- Develop and refine the company’s messaging frameworks to clearly articulate our unique value proposition.
- Conduct focused competitor research and analysis to enhance brand, messaging and product marketing insights on a timely basis.
- Create and manage the company’s digital presence, including launching and optimizing all company social media platforms, crafting compelling content, and managing paid/organic campaigns.
- Produce high-quality marketing collateral such as whitepapers, blogs, sales enablement tools, and thought-leadership content.
- Establish clear marketing metrics and regularly analyze performance data to optimize efforts and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with sales and founders to create targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with prospects, driving measurable pipeline and revenue.
- Plan, execute, and manage industry events, conferences, and webinars, ensuring effective brand exposure and lead generation.
- Lay the groundwork for a future marketing team, including systems, processes, and vendor relationships.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally as a first marketing hire in an early-stage cybersecurity startup.
- Proven track record managing end-to-end marketing initiatives, including field/events marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, and content creation.
- Expert-level proficiency in building messaging frameworks, optimizing the company’s narrative and position to its ICP, and developing impactful content.
- Extensive experience with key marketing tools: HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Webflow, and analytics platforms.
- Exceptional English communication skills (bilingual or native proficiency strongly preferred).
- A highly adaptable mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to independently lead projects from start to finish.
