Data Analyst

A successful AI startup in the Food-Tech domain, developing a B2B SaaS platform powered by AI for global enterprise clients in the food and beverage industry. The product delivers deep insights into consumer behavior and preferences, enabling customers to shape their product development and marketing strategies accordingly.

The company is located in central Tel Aviv near a light rail station, offering one remote workday per week. They have about 90 employees, including 50 in Israel.

About the Role:

About the role-

• Work as part of a team of 3 analysts and a team lead within the Product department
• Analyze large-scale unstructured social media data (images, videos, tables)
• Extract insights on user behavior and global food & beverage trends
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries on datasets at the billion-scale
• Perform statistical analysis and data modeling using R
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to deliver actionable insights that influence product development and strategy

Requirements-

• 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst or Business Analys
• Proven experience in developing data-driven strategies and adapting to changing project need
• Accountability & Self leadership — taking full responsibility for tasks E2E, and ability to prioritize business needs
• Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous or abstract tasks and turn them into actionable plans
• Strong communicator who can simplify complex ideas into clear, compelling messages
• Enjoys working collaboratively across teams, understands that only 50% of the role is solo work
